We are staying at Grand Floridian and going to the parks. Where are there playgrounds or areas for toddlers to run around freely but safely at these locations? I love the playgrounds they set up for food and wine, would like them year round!

    Dear Morgan,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great planning question!

The wonderful news is that there are quite a few playgrounds around Walt Disney World Resort. Though there is not one at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, there are many at other Walt Disney World Resort hotels and you could easily zip over to one during a break in the day. At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you will find the ultimate splashpad, which my children found absolutely perfect after a hot day exploring the parks. My friend Rachel L. was kind enough to share a list of all of the splashpads around the Walt Disney World Resort property.

In terms of playgrounds inside of the theme parks, hands down The Boneyard at Disney's Animal Kingdom is tops! The mazes and slides cannot be beat, and the entire time kids are imagining themselves as archaeologists digging for the next buried fossil!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
