Hi, Vasiliki!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the flagship property at Walt Disney World and, as such, the resort features a luxurious (yet relaxed) ambiance and a wonderful location on the direct monorail line to Magic Kingdom. The resort also offers some of the best dining to be found at Walt Disney World. I'm sure your family will love staying at the Grand Floridian!
Most families with young children prefer to be near the main building (with dining, shops and registration desk), pool and transportation. At the Grand Floridian, I suggest requesting the
Big Pine Key building. You can also opt to stay in the Main Building, but all the rooms and suites there are Club (Concierge) Level accommodations which carry a significantly higher price tag than rooms in the "outer buildings". If my budget allowed, I would choose a Tower Room in the main building!
During your stay at the Grand Floridian, I recommend enjoying the character dining experience at 1900 Park Fare. Your princesses will have a wonderful time meeting Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and her daughters (the "evil" stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella)!
I also recommend visiting the independent website
AllEars.Net as they have a very comprehensive section on Walt Disney World accommodations with lots of helpful information including detailed maps of each resort hotel.
Wishing you and your two little princesses a
magical vacation!
