Hi Darlene! The Grand Floridian is absolutely gorgeous! And you'll love being so close to the Magic Kingdom. Dinner at 1900 Park Fare is one of our favourite character meals. It's extrememly popular, and does book up quickly. I would suggest that you keep trying for a cancellation leading up to your trip. Since you're staying at the resort, I would also try to walk up and see if they can fit you in while you're there.
There are so many other
great dining experiences in your resort, including the Grand Floridian Cafe, Narcoosee's and Citrico's. If it's character or special dining experience you're after, then you've got many options just a monorail or boat ride away, including
- 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort
- Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort
- Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.
Hope this helps Darlene. Write us back with any other questions!
