    Hi, we are staying at the grand Floridian in late Feb March 1st. Can we buy sodas and water for our room and how much are they? Or should we bring our own? Thanks

    Hi Dorina, 

    There is a store at the Grand Floridian that sells soda, water, and other beverages and snacks. Also, accessible by monorail, there is a larger store at the Contemporary that sells more extensive packaged food options. While buying items right at the hotel is convenient, it can be quite expensive. Most single serve beverages (20 oz size) cost between $2.00-3.00 each. 

    If you have access to a car, bringing your own beverages, or purchasing them at a local supermarket, can save quite a bit of money. 

    If you're not renting a car, you can also save money on drinks by having them brought to you by a local grocery delivery service. One popular service is gardengrocer.com. Another alternative is to mail drinks and snacks to yourself at the hotel. Shipping liquids can get expensive, but if you have an Amazon prime account, you can use that to send yourself a case of water or soda at no charge (make sure you're ordering items that qualify for this).
