When staying at Grand Floridian, what is the difference between Club Level 2 bedroom suite and Club Level Access 2 bedroom suite? I believe we currently have club level access booked and am curious if there is a big difference between the two. Thanks!

    Hello Kathleen!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney today. I'm happy to help!

I'm thrilled that you're preparing for a magical stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I've been a guest there on two past occasions and can't wait to return in 2024. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, and in my opinion, quintessentially Disney. You just can't top the feeling of stepping into that glorious lobby or the resort's proximity to Magic Kingdom Park. Grand Floridian is also home to three of my favorite dining venues, too! If you haven't yet sipped a cocktail in the beautiful Enchanted Rose (don't miss the Lavender Fog) or enjoyed an incredible meal at Citricos or Narcoossee's, consider this your push to add those to the top of your list!

As a Club Level guest, you'll enjoy access to the Royal Palm Club lounge which offers complimentary breakfast, snacks, and evening beverages daily, as well as access to Disney Signature Services throughout your stay. I did a little research and it seems the main distinction between the options you mention are the building locations, room view types and the sleeping configurations. Let's review the differences.

The "2 Bedroom Suite - Club Level" rooms are noted as being located in the Main Building with Pool Views. The rooms are approximately 1082 square feet and can accommodate 8 adults plus an infant with 1 king-sized bed in the master bedroom, 2 queens in the second bedroom and 1 queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living area. These suites also feature a master bath with shower/tub combination, a full bathroom in the second bedroom as well as a half bathroom in the living area.

The "2 Bedroom Suite - Club Level Access" rooms feature the same room size as well as bed and bath configurations but indicate views of either the Courtyard Pool or Seven Seas Lagoon and will be located in Sago Key, Conch Key, or Boca Chica. The "Sugarloaf Bldg - 2 BR Ste - Club Level Access" rooms are slightly larger and feature a full-sized bathroom instead of a half bathroom in the living area, and offer views of the Marina from Sugarloaf Key.

Finally, guests who have reserved a "2 BR - Theme Park View - Club Level Access" room will enjoy views of Cinderella Castle from Sago Key or Conch Key. These rooms are also slightly larger at 1792 square feet but sleep 6 adults plus an infant with 1 king-sized bed in the master and 2 queens in the second bedroom.

Be sure to complete your Online Check-In in the My Disney Experience App prior to your arrival to receive a push notification when your room is ready. You'll find a resort map within the app and can even use it for walking directions to your room's building, but you are always welcome to stop by the Front Desk with any questions or concerns as well.

Kathleen, I hope this was helpful.  I'm wishing you a happy and healthy New Year and a magical stay! Please stop back and see us again with more planning questions.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
