We are staying at the Grand Floridian and the check in is at 3pm. We are arriving at 10am and since the room will most likely not be ready, can I rent a cabana prior to checking in? If so, how do I go about doing so?

Hi Stacy,

Disney's Grand Floridian was a dream come true for my children. They thought the phone in the bathroom was super cool when they were little and it is the only hamper they consistently used. Having a room overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon to watch Magic Kingdom's fireworks was super special!

Since you are a guest on the day you check-in, you can go ahead and try to reserve a cabana. You can call Disney at 407-WDW-PLAY and make a reservation. If they are available, you can go ahead and book. You can also use the pools if you want. We have done that on vacations.

Also, remember to do your online check-in 10 days prior to your arrival. And if the pixie dust is in your favor, your room might be ready when you arrive.
