Hi! We'll be staying at the Grand Californian while visiting the parks. Since check in is at a later time than park opening, is it possible to park at the hotel, visit the park, and then check in when available? Or do we need to park in the structures?

    Hi Maria,

I'm SO excited to hear that you'll be staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa...and in just a few days! Grand and luxurious, yet rustic and fun, it's a gorgeous place to call home during your Disneyland Resort vacation! Not only that, but you'll only be steps away from the Downtown Disney District and the theme parks! You're going to LOVE it!

I'm happy to share that at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, you'll be considered a Guest for the entire day of both your check-in and check-out! You are welcome to park at the Resort hotel in the morning and check in whenever it's convenient for you. If you need Bell Services to keep any bags for you, they'd be happy to do so, and if you want to take advantage of the pools or any other amenities, please feel free! I hope you get to squeeze every ounce of magic and fun out of your stay!

As you're thinking through the details of your visit, this Know Before You Go page has all kinds of helpful information about what to expect during the phased reopening. I'd encourage you to check it out.

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Maria! I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
