We will be staying at the grand californian with a group of 14, and my daughter's 8th birthday falls during our trip. Help! I need ideas for her birthday party. We are doing character dining and fantastic already on other days. What else?

    Hello Heather,

Spending birthdays with the Big Cheese himself can be so wonderful, especially for a young princess.

Be sure to stop by Guest Services and get your princess a free Birthday button to wear on her special day; Cast Members that see her in the parks will be sure to send her warm wishes throughout the day. We love to visit a lot of Meet 'N' Greets when celebrating magical birthdays, the Disney Characters know how to make each Guest feel special.

Treat your daughter to a royal makeover at The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique located in Fantasyland near Cinderella's Castle is a wonderful option for children ages 3 - 12 years old to participate in, your daughter will get transformed into a princess by a Fairy Godmother-in-Training. If you are wanting to book your head-to-toe makeover by a Fairy Godmother-in-Training, you may call (714) 781-STYLE  to discuss the different package options.

To add to the birthday party festivities, you can also sprinkle some more pixie dust on the big day by ordering a personalized birthday cake if you're dining at select table service restaurants. Call the Disney cake hotline at (714) 781-3463 to order one, they will need at least 72 hours notice prior to your magical date needed.

I hope this is helpful and that you have a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah time. If you have any more questions please write us back on how we can help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

Remember to "Let It Go" and have a Fairy Tale time at the Disneyland Resort!
