    Staying at GF. With the main pool & QSD under construction we have the option of using the Poly but is the walk very far? I don't want to have to walk late at night to get a snack and carry it back. Is there other options at GF?

    Hi Brenda!

    The Grand Floridian Resort is undergoing a great deal of refurbishments this year. The main courtyard pool closed for refurbishment in August and will reopen in December. The beach pool will still remain open during the work, so you can use that pool. Many guests say that this pool is one of the best in Disney, and it's a favorite among kids.

    The amenities at Polynesian will be open to Grand Floridian guests during this time. You can easily take the monorail to Polynesian from Grand Floridian without hassle.
