We are staying at the GF for the first time in Jan. Where is the best place to stay in the hotel/ any particular requests that we should make? Thank you for all of your help in planning our vacation!

Really, anywhere you stay in the Grand Floridian is going to be great, but here are my preferences.

    1. Since I still have afternoon-napping aged kids, I like Sago Cay, since it gets me further away from the pool noise in the early afternoons. Conch Key is another good choice as well, though marina sounds might be an issue.
    2. If you want to really be in the action, choose a room in the main building, or Sugarloaf Key. When I ignore rule #1, I like the main building, as I like being near the monorail, restaurants, stores, and lounges, and as "in the experience" as I can be!
    3. My third choice would be Big Pine Key. This gets me as close to both of the big resort pools as you can be, pretty much. The lagoon views are not of the park, but are still very scenic, and can occasionally include a wedding or two. Also, this gets me close to the beach, which the girls still love to visit!

I am glad to refine my suggestions, if needed. Just send me another question with more info of what you are looking for!

    Have a magical vacation!
