    Staying at GF, Dinner at Calif Grill at 9:30 on 9/3. Know we can monorail there - but how to we get back? Won't monorail be down? Help!

    Yeay! Your trip is almost here! Exciting!

    Depending on how long you choose to linger over your dinner, I think the best way for you to get back to the Grand Floridian will be to walk from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom. From there, enjoy the boat transportation over to your resort. The Magic Kingdom closes at 10 pm so it will be slowly emptying out. You should have no trouble getting back after your dinner using the park's transportation if you are heading back around 11pm or earlier.

    After 11pm, I'd suggest a quick taxi cab ride back to the Grand Floridian as you quickest and easiest way to go.
