We are staying at French Quarter when my daughter is 6 mo. Does anyone have any sugestions about sterilizing bottles? I also wanted to know if the pack n plays that disney provides are in good condition? Are they clean?

    Hi Krisina,

How great that you are starting your daughter's love of Disney World at an early age. My boys love looking back at pictures of their early trips to Disney World. Even years ago when my boys were infants, the worry of cleaning and sterilizing baby bottles was part of my travel concerns. A few ideas that worked for me was to bring a small bottle of dish detergent and a baby bottle brush in a ziploc bag in my luggage. I would just wash and rinse the bottles and nipples in the sink and leave them dry overnight. The water in the sinks does get quite hot, so I have also filled the sink with very hot water and let the nipples soak. Years ago, I was able to purchase ready to use formula bottles that had disposable nipples. Although these cost more than using a powder, I liked having a few of these to travel with as I did not have to worry about cleaning the bottles later. I also liked using the bottles that used disposable liners, like Playtex, so I could remove the liner and the bottle would stay clean. Each park has a great baby care station where you can nurse, change diapers, clean bottles and more. Just look on your park map for their location.

Disney does provide a pack n play and we have never had a problem with the condition of cleanliness of these units. I always carried a few extra sheets in my luggage to use in the pack n play. If you arrive and have any concerns over the condition of the pack n play in your room, just call housekeeping from your resort room phone. I am sure they will be happy to bring you a new one.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
