Hi we are staying in fort wilderness tent sites in June. Do they have campfire/ grill access for cooking food?

Welcome to planDisney, Nicole! I’m so glad you’ve stopped in to see us with your planning question. You’re in for an awesome adventure in the magical outdoors of The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.

I’m happy to report that each site will have its own charcoal grill and picnic table for your convenience. You would just need to supply the charcoal and you can have a cook out every night! My family and I always use the grill at least once during our stays at the fort.

Nicole, you have so much to look forward to during your next visit! There are some great outdoor activities, from canoeing to archery that your family can enjoy. The Tri-Circle-D Ranch has some brand-new facilities that are so impressive. You can schedule a pony, trail or a wagon ride during your visit, to check them out.

My family always looks forward to the Electrical Water Pageant. You can see the twinkling lights at the dock of your resort, right around 9 p.m. every night, weather permitting.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Don’t hesitate to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical visit!
