    We will be staying at Fort Wilderness this summer. My son wants to bring his fishing pole. Is there dockside fishing at Fort Wilderness ?

    Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground offer the best of both luxury and outdoor experiences! Nestled into the shores of Bay Lake, this resort is only a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom. In addition, Guests visiting or staying can look forward to exploring the 750 acres of forest that many animals species call home. You and your family may be lucky enough to spot critters such as deer, ducks, armadillos, and rabbits so be sure to keep your eyes peeled while you're exploring!

    Dockside fishing is available at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. If your son needs bait, you can even purchase this from the attendant at the resort! 

    If you're looking for even more activities for you and your family, you won't have to go very far! Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground offers some of the most extensive recreation activities of any resort at Walt Disney World Resort! You and your family can choose from activities such as archery, biking, canoeing, and even horseback riding. I would highly recommend exploring all of the options available for you to enjoy during your trip!
