We will be staying at Fort Wilderness the second weekend in September. Are we allowed to bring our own kayak's?

    Hiya Nicole

I am so glad you stopped back at planDisney with this great question. If you are like me, you are already counting the days until your Walt Disney World Resort vacation

Great choice on your resort. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort remind me of my grandparent's summer cottage. In this tucked away treasure, you can enjoy all the beauty of nature mixed with the magic of Disney, and maybe even a daily sighting of Bambi and her friends. The resort offers so many amazing amenities like fishing, pony and wagon rides, the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, evening campfires with Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long and a number of water activities including canoeing and kayaking. While you are not able to use your own privately owned watercrafts, you can easily rent a kayak at the resort. Be sure to reserve yours early as these rentals are quite popular.

One more exciting nugget of information, if you have not heard, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is now open and serving up some delicious grub with a evening full of laughter. This family gives it two thumbs up!

Hope this information helps make your trip even more magical. If you have any more planning questions, please stop back and see me.

    With pixie dust,
    Margaret
