We are staying at fort wilderness for our next stay and would like a new cabin. Have all of the old cabins been replaced with new or will I need to make a request for a new one? Thanks!

Welcome back to planDisney, Jenna! You are going to have the best time during your stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

I'm happy to report that all the cabins at the Fort have been replaced and the new ones are so nice! The new bedroom is very spacious. The queen-sized bed and bunk beds are spaced out comfortably and the sitting area is comfortable and bright! The new cabins have very large windows and window coverings that will allow you to raise them all the way up, allowing lots of natural light to enter the sitting area that includes the couch (and pull-down full-sized bed), television and full-sized kitchen.

During your stay, you have all the comforts of home with a full-sized refrigerator with a freezer and ice maker. A stove with an oven, a dishwasher, coffee maker and plenty of cookware to prepare a few meals during your visit. My family makes a quick breakfast every time we visit. We like to use the coffee pot to brew the special Joffrey's coffee at the cabin. It's complimentary and you can always request more coffee, sugar and creamer during your stay.

Jenna, I hope I've been helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next vacation!
