Howdy Robert!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to hear you planning on "roughing it" at Walt Disney World Resort. You are going to love
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. In fact you may find so much to do at the Resort itself you might not want to go home. I hope you have a wonderful time.
Check-in time for the campsites is 1:00 PM. Check-in time for
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is at 3:00 PM. This is where you may have gotten incorrect information. Robert the best way to secure your campsite is by checking in online before you arrive. Simply sign into your
My Disney Experience account using the Walt Disney World website or your mobile app. During this check-in you can indicate what time you plan on arriving, this will help the Resort plan for your arrival. When you arrive simply pull up to a Welcome Center window and a Cast Member will be ready to assist you.
If your campsite is not ready when you arrive you will find plenty of complimentary parking for your RV near the Reception Outpost. Once you park you can hop on
Disney's complimentary bus transportation heading to one of the four Theme Parks or
Disney Springs to enjoy your day. When you come back you can move your RV to your assigned site. Isn't that great?
I hope this has helped. Please let me know what other questions I can answer for you. Helping fellow Guests is what I enjoy most.
Dream as Dreamers Do,
Jen
