We are staying at Fort Wilderness in May. Can we rent a tent from the campground and have it set up on the same site as our rv?

Welcome to planDisney, Jeremiah! I’m so happy to know that you will be staying at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort this Spring! You’re in for a wonderful visit!

I have some good news! I spoke to a Cast Member and they informed me that you can rent a tent and have it set up at your RV site. Cast Members will set everything up for you! All you have to do is call (407) 939-7807 before your visit to reserve your tent rental. Your tent rental will cost $45 per night (tax included) and you can also rent a cot for $5 per night (tax included). It’s important to note that these prices are subject to change, so you will want to confirm the current pricing with a Cast Member.

Jeremiah, there are so many great recreational activities to do at the Fort! The weather will be just right for some horseback riding. If you do decide to visit the Tri-Circle-D Ranch during your stay, you will notice it has a brand-new look. It just underwent a renovation and it’s beautiful!

The Electrical Water Pageant will be back in action during your stay too. You will be able to enjoy this nighttime parade right from the dock, beginning around 9:45 p.m. I look forward to watching it with my family every time we visit!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you put those finishing touches on your upcoming trip. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical vacation!
