Will be staying at Fort Wilderness in Feb. What is the best way to get to Poly since monorail will be closed down. My mom will have an ECV. We can take the boat to MK & Contemporary, correct? Will also need to get to GF from MK for dinner. Help!

Hi, Cynthia! The fastest way to get from Fort Wilderness to the Polynesian is to take a taxi.  The ride will only take about ten minutes. If a taxi is not in your budget, or just something you don't want to do, then you will need a transfer point.  You can use the Magic Kingdom. You can take a boat there, and from there you can easily take a boat to the Polynesian Resort.  You should expect this two-boat trip to take about 45 minutes. You are correct that you can also take a boat to the Contemporary Resort.  Getting from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is very easy.  It is the same Resort-loop boat that you take to get to the Polynesian, but the Grand Floridian is the first stop. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
