We will be staying at the Fort Wilderness Campsites and I noticed that some of the campsite pictures show a fire ring while others do not. Do the campsites have fire rings? If not, are we allowed to bring one? If we can bring one what types are acceptable?

    Hi Tia!

Having had the opportunity to spend a vacation in the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, I can wholeheartedly recommend it!  Being able to enjoy the rustic feel of the cabins with the amenities of a full kitchen and large living space was definitely a perk for us!

Unfortunately, the campsites do not have fire rings, and open fires are not permitted at Fort Wilderness.  Once daily, there is a Campfire Sing a long with Chip and Dale, and you are able to roast marshmallows, but it is closely watched over by cast members.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
