We will be staying at the fort wilderness cabins with our dogs. Is it possible to leave the parks to walk the dogs in the afternoon and then return and get back into the park?

Welcome to planDisney, Hope! Thanks so much for stopping in with your question about The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!

My family and I visit the Fort with our doggies Bruno and Buster all the time. They love it just as much as we do!

You definitely can leave the parks to take a break midday to walk them and return to the parks at a later time. We also go back to our room very often to walk the dogs and keep them company.

During your walks, you will find plenty of stations with pet waste bags and garbage cans, making it easy to pick up after your pooches.

The new cabins are also so spacious! They give the whole family plenty of room to spread out. The family room area was our favorite place to hang out. There's a full kitchen complete with a good size dining table, stove, microwave, refrigerator as well as a dish washer. You will all have the comforts of home!

Hope, I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions before your visit in September. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next vacation!
