We're staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins... Should we bring out own food (cereal, snacks, soda, etc...) from home? I'm just wondering how much of a price difference there is when buying it from somewhere on the property.

    Hi Dawn,

I am so excited as I am just days away from my first stay at the Fort Wilderness Cabins. It is one of the few Disney World properties that we have yet to experience. While I have yet to shop at the Fort Wilderness property, I have picked up my share of supplies form various other Disney resort shops. I can tell you that the selection is quite small and the prices are higher than what you will find in a typical store. The selection consist of the basics like bread, milk, juice and chips. If you are traveling in by car a better choice would be to bring the supplies with you or stop at a grocery store just before coming on property. If you are not traveling by car, you could order your groceries before your vacation and arrange to have them delivered to the resort upon your arrival. My favorite place for that is www.gardengrocer.com or 866-855-4350.

Hope both our families have fantastic vacations at the cabins!
