We will be staying at Fort Wilderness in August and we were wondering if the laundry facilities are open 24 hours and if not what the hours of operation are. Thanks

Hello, Heather! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for stopping by with another great question!

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a great way of experiencing the excitement of the great outdoors while staying just minutes away from Magic Kingdom! The lush woodlands that fill this resort and campground are home to a variety of wildlife like deer, rabbits, and armadillos. One of my favorite activities when staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is seeing just how many cute critters I can spot!

The amenities available at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground also make staying at this resort more comfortable for those that are not as keen on camping with zero resources! There are 15 air-conditioned Comfort Station placed throughout the campgrounds that provide private showers, restrooms, ice machines, pay phones, and laundry facilities. These Comfort Stations are open 24 hours a day and are accessible via MagicBand

All laundry facilities on property at Walt Disney World Resort now accept credit and debit cards with some facilities offering a limited number of coin-operated machines. In addition to washers and dryers, Guests may also purchase certain detergents and dryer sheets from soap vending machines. Also, Walt Disney World Resort laundry facilities now utilize Laundry View technology that allows Guests to check the status of their laundry via text message!

Hopefully this answers your questions regarding laundry services!
