Hello Steve, welcome to planDisney!
You must be so excited to stay at Walt Disney World's flagship resort -
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! This resort is absolutely gorgeous and is located near my favorite theme park,
Magic Kingdom Park. I hope you will have time to stroll through the resort and take in all its beauty.
If you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park, you have a few options to get there. The first is by way of the
Walt Disney World Monorail. You are just one stop away so you may want to factor in time to go all the way around first if you like to explore. The next option is by
water taxi as you cross the Seven Seas Lagoon. Your final option is to utilize the scenic walking path that connects Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom Park which will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
To get back to your question, I'm assuming you will be flying into Orlando and you already have transportation to get to Walt Disney World. Your transportation of choice will drop you off at Disney's Grand Floridian. If your room is ready, you can go directly to your room with your luggage. If you need assistance with your luggage,
Bell Services will gladly assist you. If your room is not ready, Bell Services will store your luggage so that you may immediately begin to enjoy your vacation. They will bring your luggage to you later in the day when you have access to your room.
I hope you find this information helpful Steve. Please let us know if you have further questions as you continue to plan your magical Walt Disney World vacation!
