Hi Preslee, and thanks for coming to planDisney with your question! There’s something extra magical about staying at the
Art of Animation Resort where you’ll feel immersed in your favorite Disney movies, like The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Cars. Ka-chow!
Now, let’s make sure you’re properly caffeinated for those busy park days! When I stayed at Art of Animation in November, my Family Suite had a Cuisinart Single-Serve Coffee Machine that makes one or two cups at a time. It uses flat coffee pods (they look like large tea bags) which are provided in the room, along with cups and lids, sweetener, creamer, and tea bags. Don’t miss the little details on the cups, sometimes you can find hidden Mickeys on them! If you run out of anything, call housekeeping and they’d be happy to replenish your supply.
I love the convenience of the kitchenette for heating up food in the microwave or even brushing my teeth at the sink when my family is in the two bathrooms. While there isn’t a toaster oven, I chatted with a Cast Member who confirmed there is a toaster you can use at the
Landscape of Flavors food court. It’s in the area by the soda machines.
Landscape of Flavors has
mobile food ordering, which is usually my go-to for saving time on line and previewing pictures of the food, but there are a few dishes available for dine-in only. They include the more unique quick-service meals, like the Mongolian Beef and Mojo-roasted Chicken, so I wouldn’t want you to miss them!
And while you’re at Art of Animation, I always recommend spending a little time walking around the resort to look at the different character sculptures. My favorite is the Cars area where you’ll feel like you’re on Route 66 with Lightning McQueen and the gang, complete with the Cozy Cone Motel. It’s also a great spot to take family pictures!
I hope you have a pixie-dusted stay at Art of Animation! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
