Staying 12/3-12/8, will emh make the parks more crowded, should we avoid these. Also, what about the Christmas parade being filmed will that be a problem and do you know which day it is?

    Sherry,

Extra Magic Hours ALWAYS bring in a bigger crowd than a park would otherwise have. That is just the nature of getting extra time in a park.

In the busies times of the year (summer, holidays), I recommend that guest avoid Extra Magic Hours like the plague. Especially morning ones.

However, in slower times of the year (like the time that you will be there), I suggest they use them as often as possible. Why? Well, more time in the parks is a real plus. And crowds should still be light, as it is a generally slow time of the year there. A few extra people because of Extra Magic Hours will still amount to a smaller than summertime crowd!

As for the filming of the parade, I would avoid it, personally. Lots of people like to see it, and others like to be "in the show". But I am not one of those people, so I like to take advantage of it and go to a different park for even lighter crowds. Not sure what day it is, but call your resort and they should be able to tell you.

    Have a magical vacation!
