Hi there, Michael,
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for asking a great Disney Vacation Club question, I’m happy to assist a fellow DVC Member. I’ve been keeping an eye on
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and am looking forward to my family’s first stay there next summer. I’m excited to stay in a woodland hideaway and have easy access to the tree-lined trails, be close enough to hear the sounds of the river and my kids are thrilled to be close to the Campground Theater for
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long. Michael, I have good news for you: I checked in with
Member Services and they confirmed that Guests staying at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are indeed eligible for the
Early Theme Park Entry as well as for
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Early Theme Park Entry lets Guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels benefit from an extra 30 minutes in the theme parks every day of their stay (this includes the day Guests check-in and check-out). The Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered on select nights to Guests of select Disney resort hotels so be sure to check the
My Disney Experience Mobile App (Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours will be noted there).
To participate in either of these extended hours options, Guests require a valid theme park ticket and either a
MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile Pass or a Key to the World Card so the hotel stay can be verified.
Michael, I hope you are able to take advantage of the bonus time in the theme parks, I love being in the theme parks where there are fewer Guests and the lines can be a bit shorter. I recommend checking the list of attractions so you know which are open during the extended theme park hours you are attending (not all attractions are available). Please
let me know if you have any other questions, I’m happy to help!
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
