Welcome Home, Christine!
Welcome back to planDisney, it’s always nice to see a Guest who returns to us with more questions. Your trip is just around the river bend, and I hope you are getting excited to return to
The Happiest Place on Earth!Disney Vacation Club Members using Vacation Points to stay
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa may self-park up to 2 vehicles at no additional charge. Registered hotel Guests using cash to stay at the resort may self-park vehicles for a fee, which is currently $25 per night, or valet park for $35 per night. Additional charges may apply for oversized vehicles, and prices are subject to change.
While a personal guest would be able to join you in your room for a meal, relax with you in the hotel lobby, or dine with you in a restaurant, the pool area of the resort is for registered hotel Guests only, and your personal guest would not be permitted. This includes not just the water itself, but the deck and seating areas. If you have space left in your room occupancy, you could add your friend’s name to your official reservation. At The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Deluxe Studios may have up to 4 Guests, 1-Bedrooms up to 5, 2-Bedrooms up to 9, and Grand Villas up to 12. DVC Members can easily modify the Guests for no additional charge on their reservation via the
Disney Vacation Club Member Website. If the friend was officially on your reservation, she would be able to enjoy all the resort amenities with you such as the pool area!
I hope this helps answer both of your questions, Christine. Time to grab those Mickey Ears and get packing!
Wishing you
Membership Magic!- Kate
