I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Ann Marie!
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is my favorite place to stay at Walt Disney World Resort, because of its sweeping views of Bay Lake and
Magic Kingdom Park. There are no sweeter sounding words than "Welcome Home" that you'll hear as soon as you step into the lobby, and you'll also be greeted with that intoxicating Green Clover and Aloe scent.
Shaped like a semicircle, Bay Lake Tower is connected to
Disney's Contemporary Resort by an elevated walkway, called the Skyway Bridge, which can be accessed by Guests who are using the
Monorail. We've stayed at Bay Lake Tower several times, and in my experience, the walk from our room to the Monorail has never been more than five minutes (unless I get distracted when I'm window shopping at
Bay View Gifts). If convenience is a priority, try requesting a room near the Skyway Bridge (on the 5th floor) when doing online check-in. I often use a subscription-based website called Touring Plans, which has a Room Finder tool, through which you can fax your requests. Room requests are never guaranteed, but I've been able to stay in rooms with spectacular views this way.
I hope you have a magical trip, Ann Marie, and I bet you'll agree that Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is the best place to stay in the "World!"
