We will be staying at Disney's Beach Club Villas in January 2016 in a 1 BR unit. It's a couples only getaway, and we are wanting an EPCOT facing room so that we can enjoy the fireworks balcony-side.Any suggestions on which room to ask for prior to arrival?

    Hi Tiffani!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney’s Beach Club Villas is a great choice for a couples only vacation. With a relaxing seaside theme, walking distance to Epcot and the Boardwalk, you’re sure to have a romantic time.

A lot of the trees have really grown up around Disney’s Beach Club Villas, so you may find that views of Illuminations are obstructed. Also the angle of the building is such that most rooms only view Epcot at an angle. I would recommend requesting a higher floor for the best chance of a partial view. I am a big fan of the Touring Plans website, and I’ve tried to use their room finder to see what rooms might offer the best options for you. Rooms on the fourth or fifth floors ending in: 57, 46 or 48 are probably your best bets, as well as room 420. Please keep in mind that making a room request is just that, a request. There is never any guarantee that you’ll be able to be placed in one of the rooms asked for. If no one is checking out of those rooms that day, it just may not be possible.

If you find that you are not granted one of these rooms, or you find the view is less exciting than you hoped, you might consider taking a short walk outside. There is a beautiful view from the bridge between Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. After enjoying the show, maybe take a walk down the Boardwalk to check out the evening entertainment or grab a snack at the Boardwalk Bakery!

Please let us know what other questions we can help you with as you plan your vacation, we love to help!
