    When staying at Disney’s Art of Animation can you pick up your park tickets/Magic bands at the hotel?

    Hi Sabrina,

    I’m happy to see you here at planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. 

    I can’t wait for you to experience everything that Disney’s Art of Animation Resort has to offer! The larger-than-life Characters from some of our favorite Disney movies make a wonderful backdrop for photos, so get your pose ready. The Disney Skyliner, one of my favorite ways to get around Walt Disney World Resort, will also be at your doorstep. You are going to love it!

    Sabrina, even though international Guests are unable to pre-purchase DisneyBands (also known as MagicBands in the United States and on the website) and have them delivered to their homes, you may purchase one on shopDisney.com and have it delivered to your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. At checkout, simply include your name, hotel name and address (available here) in the shipping information. Be sure to include the word “GUEST” and the date of your arrival along with your name. When you arrive, let the Cast Member know you had a package delivered. There is a nominal charge associated with having packages delivered to Disney hotels.

    Of course, the other option is to purchase a band when you arrive. There is something special about choosing your own band from the many options available at Walt Disney World Resort, including those that are exclusive to the theme parks and resort hotels. 

    As for your Theme Park Admission Tickets, you have a couple of options. If you purchased your tickets online, they may already be linked to your My Disney Experience Disney account. If so, you might not need an actual “hard” ticket and can use your My Disney Experience mobile app or your DisneyBand instead. If you would like an actual ticket, simply go to the Guest Relations ticket window outside one of the four theme parks or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney’s Springs and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you.
