We are staying at the Disneyland Resort Club Level for my daughters birthday in 2 weeks. My mother would like to come to the hotel and pool area with us to celebrate but she will not be spending the night. Do i have to let the hotel know? Is this ok?

Hello there, Desiree, and a very happy early birthday to your daughter!

From all of us at planDisney, we want to wish you a warm welcome. What an exciting birthday you have planned for your daughter! Since you're staying at an official Disneyland Resort Hotel, you'll feel like you've never left the Magic even after you exit the Theme Parks. And I love the proximity of the Hotels, which makes a mid-day break in your Resort room so convenient!

I reached out to a Cast Member to check on their hotel policy regarding your question. They stated that your mother is of course welcome to any of the publicly accessible areas of the hotel. But, however, any guests visiting the pool area or the Club Lounge must be listed on your reservation. For instance, guests will be given a wristband for pool access once your name is confirmed on your reservation.

Did you know that you can have your very own in-room birthday celebration for your daughter? Reach out to Disney Floral & Gifts to set this up! During your Park days, be sure to visit World of Disney or Guest Relations to grab a Complimentary Birthday Button for your daughter because we all want to share in the celebration too! You can even have a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake delivered to participating restaurants during a meal. If your daughter would like an extra sprinkle of pixie dust, just ask a Fairy Godmother's Apprentice outside the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to help you!

Desiree, I hope that this was helpful for you and that you all have a magical birthday celebration for your daughter! If there is anything else we can do for you, please feel free to write again anytime. You're always welcome here at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
