We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel and plan to eat breakfast at Storyteller's. Can we use the entrance to California Adventure in the Grand Californian, or do you have to be a guest of the Grand Californian to use that entrance?

    Hi Neil!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. On a recent visit I actually had this exact itinerary, staying at Disneyland Hotel and enjoying a character breakfast at Storytellers Cafe, and let me tell you it's a great way to start the day!

To limit unnecessary traffic and Guests cutting through Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa to get to Disney California Adventure Park, Cast Members do restrict folks entering into the Resort hotel. As you have a Dining Reservation though, you absolutely have a reason to be there and you shouldn't have any issue at all! When you approach the main gate entrance off of Disneyland Drive, there will be a Cast Member asking those approaching if they are staying at the Resort hotel . You can let them know that you have a Dining Reservation for breakfast at Storytellers Cafe. I usually have either my Disneyland Mobile App open or the email with the reservation confirmation just to simplify the process.

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! Please come back if we can be of help in any other way.
