I am going to be staying at the Disneyland Hotel Nov 18th - 21st. This 3 night stay is M, T, W. Will Fantasmic be showing during the week? I am at my 60 mark for making dining reservations and would at least liket to rule the dining package out as option

Greetings to you, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney!

How wonderful to see you here and thanks for submitting your question to us. It's going to be all about gingerbread, ornaments, gifts, and maybe even snow for your upcoming Holiday Season visit to the Disneyland Resort! They really do knock it out of the Park when it comes to Holiday decorations and creating such a festive atmosphere. I'm really excited for you!

That's great that you're thinking ahead and making your advance dining reservations for your visit. I'm afraid that, with the information that I have, it appears as if the Disneyland Resort will have moved to its off-season entertainment schedule by that time. This means that certain nighttime spectaculars like Fantasmic! will only be shown on the weekends. So if your visit is Monday through Wednesday, this might not be an option for you. I'm sorry for the less than magical news.

You will hopefully have no shortage of options for nighttime entertainment, though! The Entertainment Schedule is updated on the website six weeks in advance, so I would recommend checking back as your visit gets closer to see what's available. Since they'll be celebrating the Holidays, I would recommend the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular at Disneyland Park and World of Color - Season of Light at Disney California Adventure. Both will surely help to get you into the Holiday spirit!

And may I say that I love your Hotel choice? The Disneyland Hotel is my favorite of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels and I hope you have a wonderful time there! I love how that property pays homage to the history of the Resort. And speaking of dining reservations, my favorite restaurant is Goofy's Kitchen, which is right there! The Disney Parks Blog reported that Goofy will begin celebrating the Holidays with a special menu on November 19, so try to grab a reservation if you can. You won't regret it!

Jennifer, I wish you the most magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth and a wonderful Holiday Season! Thanks again for coming to us and please write back if you have any more questions. We're always happy to help! Until next time.

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
