I am staying in a Disney World resort hotel for 12 nights. How does advance dining reservations work for days 11, 12 and 13. Thank you

    Hello Wendy!

I'm delighted you've brought your question to planDisney today. Consider me your maître d as we dig into all the dining details together.

Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels can book advance dining reservations for their length of stay, up to 10 days, 60 days before check-in. I've never had the luxury of staying longer than 7 nights so I had to do a little research to answer your excellent question.

I reached out to a Cast Member who confirmed that you can make additional dining reservations on a rolling basis once the initial 10 days have been booked. For example, if you were to book days 1-10 today as your 60-day window opened, you'd be able to book additional days one day at a time as they reach the 60-day mark. I'd plan to search for any hard-to-get dining reservations toward the end of that first 10-day window since you'll have access to those dates sooner than guests with shorter stays or those checking in after your arrival. Think places like Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom Park, Space 220 Restaurant at EPCOT, and Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort, just to name a few.

There are so many incredible Table Service options to choose from but don't feel like you must plan a sit-down meal set for every day. You'll also find tons of Quick-Service spots across the parks and resorts where you can simply walk up to place your order (or better yet, Mobile Order) with no reservation required. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe at Magic Kingdom Park recently had a menu upgrade and my panel pal Lauren, who was a big fan of the original selection, said she was pleasantly surprised by the new additions.

I also recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Eats section of the Disney Food Blog for menu highlights of Foodie Guides for upcoming events at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Eats is also on Instagram and showcases mouthwatering photos that will surely leave you with a rumbly in your tumbly. I rely on both sources when making my snacking game plans each visit.

I hope this helped, Wendy. Please pull a chair up at our table again with more dining questions whenever you're ready for a second serving. Wishing you a magical vacation!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
