If you are staying in a disney world resort, are you allowed to visit other resort's pools?

    Hi Barbara,

With very limited exceptions, using the pool of a hotel other than the one you're registered at is not allowed.

The cases where you would be able to "pool hop" include:

    - Guests staying at a resort which has a "sister resort" may use the pools at both. This primarily applies to the All Star and Port Orleans resorts. For example, if you're staying at one of the All Stars, you may use the pools of all.
    - Disney Vacation Club members may use the pools of other DVC hotels (but not the Beach Club or Animal Kingdom Lodge) on select dates.
    - Your hotel's pool is closed due to maintenance and you are given temporary pool visitation at another resort to compensate.

If you don't fall into one of these categories, then you're going to have to stick with your own hotel's pool. But no worries, all the pools at Walt Disney World have something special. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

    Enjoy!
