We are staying in Disney for a week in Sep and want to make reservations for fireworks, fantasmic and cirque du Soliel. However, we believe the Halloween nights will be on then. When will dates be announced and will it be too late to book everything else

Hi Emma! How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World for an entire week this September! Mickey really does know how to throw a party and this one is not to be missed!  Dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party were announced in April of 2011 with tickets going on sale the beginning of May. Follow the link provided from the 2011 Disney Parks Blog to get an idea of what dates Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party were offered last year. Because you are probably approaching the 180 day mark to begin making Advanced Dining Reservations, I would recommend making your dining reservations now knowing that they can always be adjusted if needed. Hopefully, the dates will be announced before you need to secure reservations for Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba, Fantasmic! Dining Package, or any special firework voyages or dessert parties!  I would keep checking the Disney Parks Blog periodically or the main Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party page for updated information. I hope this helps!  Please write back if I can answer any other questions for you!  Sending pixie-dusted wishes that you are able to experience everything that you hope for on your Walt Disney World Vacation!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
