Welcome to planDisney, Rachel! I am so glad you found us to ask your questions for your November trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
When visiting Magic Kingdom, you can absolutely take your train-loving son for a spin on the
monorail! If you are driving, you would park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot and then take either the monorail or the ferry boat over to the theme park for the day. If you are not driving, I would plan to take a break in the middle of the day to head to the monorail for the resort loop. You might even try to secure a dining reservation at either Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for lunch. The entire loop should take about 30 minutes and plan another 30 minutes for the walk to and from the monorail station from the Magic Kingdom.
Cinderella Castle is all dressed up for The Most Magical Celebration on Earth, so be sure to stop and take LOTS of pictures! On my visit this past week, I had so much fun finding the
Disney Fab 50 character collection golden statues all around the Walt Disney World theme parks.
When visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom, be sure to take your little guy on
Kilamanjaro Safaris early in the day. I find that the animals are usually more active in the morning, and even the lions were up roaming on my recent visit! There are also some really fun things to see on the walking trails.
I hope this helps with planning for your November visit. Please come back with any other questions you might have.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
