We will be staying in Disney in September, and would like to eat at the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom. Is this restaurant an all you can eat buffet? Different books that we've read all had something different to say.

The Liberty Tree Tavern is all-you-care-to-eat, but it is not a buffet. Let me explain ...

The Liberty Tree is a family-style fixed menu restaurant. Your server will bring you large platters of food, from which your family will serve yourselves. The platter is for your your table alone, there is no getting up with a plate to select food from a line. The items on the platter are fixed, there is no menu to choose from.

At the LTT there is an appetizer of salad and bread. The entree platter will hold Thanksgiving-type items such as roast turkey breast, pork loin, and carved beef. The side dish bowls will hold mashed potatoes, mac n' cheese, stuffing, and veggies. Dessert is cherry cobbler with vanilla ice cream.

The all-you-care to eat part is because your server will bring you as many refills as you want of the items on the platter. If your family loves turkey, the server will bring you all the turkey you need. If your child only eats mac n' cheese, they will continue to bring you enough mac 'n cheese to feed her.

There are a few other family-style restaurants at WDW. These are:

    - Dinner at the Garden Grill at Epcot
    - Breakfast at the Princess Storybook meal at Epcot
    - Dinner at Ohana at the Polynesian
    - Any meal at the Whispering Canyon Cafe, depending on what you order (there are traditional menu choices here as well)

    Happy dining!
