When staying at the Disney resort. Do you have to utilize the Mousekeeping? (Party of 2 - not really messy)

Hello there, Mariah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I may be in the minority with this opinion but I actually enjoy waking up and making my bed in the morning! This behavior helps me gear up for my day and keeps my routine on track especially whenever I am on vacation. Due to this, I rarely utilize housekeeping services, often referred to as “Mousekeeping”, while staying at Disney Resort hotels. In my experience, this has never presented a problem for me and my family during our stays. I simply call “Mousekeeping” from the phone in my Disney Resort hotel room and let them know that I will not be needing housekeeping services during my stay.

Keep in mind, refusing “Mousekeeping” services means that dirty towels, bedding, and trash will not be collected during your stay. You will also not have fresh towels or additional toiletries delivered to your room during throughout your vacation. However, if you end up needing additional supplies from “Mousekeeping”, you can always call from your resort room and request these items be delivered to your room! If you require larger quantities of toiletries, you may also want to stop by the gift shop found in your Disney Resort hotel. I often do this myself just to grab a larger bottle of the H20+ shampoo since it smells so good! You are also always welcome to request "Mousekeeping" stop by and clean your room if it ends up being a need while you are on vacation.

Hopefully this helps you in continuing to plan for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
