If I am staying at a Disney Resort do I have to buy a special Extra Magic Hours ticket or does my regular park ticket for that day allow me to enjoy the extra magic hours?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kerry! Thank you for visiting us with your question about the benefits Disney Resort Hotel guests obtain by staying in the middle of the magic

Extra Magic Hours is one of the benefits that you will be able to take advantage of, as a Disney Resort guest. This benefit is already included in your room reservation and does not require extra payment. Every day a Park will either open earlier in the morning or will stay open after regular hours so that Disney Resort Hotel guests get to enjoy themselves a bit longer with reduced wait times.

The events that do require separate admission tickets are those called Disney After Hours, or Disney Early Morning Magic which do require an extra payment.

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
