Hi Allison!
Thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney! You will be happy to hEAR that if you are staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you have several options for
transportation to the Walt Disney World theme parks, resorts, and
Disney Springs! All of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels offer complimentary
bus transportation to the theme parks beginning 45 minutes prior to the park opening up until one hour after the park closes.
If you are staying at
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, or
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you can take the
Walt Disney World monorail to
Magic Kingdom or
Epcot.
The
Disney Skyliner Transportation is another fun option for getting to Epcot or
Hollywood Studios from select resorts. If you are staying at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort,
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort,
Disney’s Pop Century Resort, or
Disney’s Riviera Resort, this option is available to you!
During my last trip, I stayed at the Art of Animation Resort in the Lion King Family Suite and I was amazed! I highly recommend staying at Art of Animation because the resort has a fun theme, the family suites are huge (and include a kitchenette), and there is a beautiful jogging trail around the lake. I also loved the convenience of taking the Disney Skyliner to Hollywood Studios and Epcot!
Finally, if you are staying near the
Disney Boardwalk area, at
Disney's Yacht Club,
Beach Club,
Boardwalk Inn, Dolphin or Swan Hotel, you can walk the International Gateway entrance at Epcot.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
