If staying on a Disney property for only one night, but have 2 or 3 day pass to parks, are you still eligible for extra extra magic hours in September for all 3 park pass days or just the arrival and departure date at the resort?

Hey, Tracy! This is a really great question, so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us! Extra Magic Hours are a fantastic benefit for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests. This fall, it will be an EXTRA magical benefit! Starting August 29 and continuing through November 2, there will be new Extra, Extra Magic Hours daily. These hours will be in addition to the regular Extra Magic Hours in place at the parks. Here is an overview of how this is being scheduled:

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park - Extra, Extra Magic Hours will happen daily August 29 - November 2, from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m., featuring Pandora – The World of Avatar and other attractions throughout the park.

Magic Kingdom Park - Extra, Extra Magic Hours will happen daily from August 29 - November 2, from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m., featuring favorite attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios - Daily from September 1 - November 2, the park will have Extra, Extra Magic Hours from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., including Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, plus Toy Story Land attractions and select other attractions. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and its experiences subject to capacity.

You will be able to enjoy these Extra, Extra Magic Hours on your check-in day and your check-out day. However, based on the schedule you gave here, you will not be able to use the Extra, Extra Magic Hours on that other day for which you have a Disney Theme Park Ticket. There will be Cast Members scanning MagicBands to check for current Disney Resort hotel stays. While you do have those two days covered with a one night resort stay, they will not allow you to enjoy the fun until the park opens for regular guests on that other day.

I hope this information helps you plan your extra magical days! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your extra, extra pixie-dusted adventures!
