Hi there, Dot!
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with your question! Some places are worth melting for, and The Most Magical Place on Earth is definitely one of them. A summer vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort is sure to be a real treat, especially when you’re staying in the middle of the magic at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
I’m happy to share that all guests of Disney Resort hotels are eligible for
Early Theme Park Entry 30 minutes before parks open to the public each day. Additionally, guests of Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green currently have access to
Extended Evening Theme Park hours on select nights at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park. This perk includes an exclusive 6 PM
virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind as well access to select attractions, merchandise, and dining locations. Keep an eye on the
Hours & Events Calendar for specific dates and times of early entry and extended evening hours as your vacation approaches.
Not a guest of a Disney Deluxe hotel but want to enjoy a late night at the Theme Parks? No worries! Walt Disney World has announced dates of
Disney After Hours throughout the summer of 2024. This separately-ticketed event offered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Magic Kingdom Park not only gives guests access to 3 extra hours of magic with less wait, select snacks and beverages are also included in the ticket price. I love that guests of this special event are allowed to enter the theme park at 7 PM without an additional theme park ticket enabling you to catch the evening’s fireworks before the actual event begins.
Since you will be vacationing in the summer, Dot, be sure to make time to cool down and enjoy your Resort hotel’s pool. For me, nothing beats a cold drink poolside on a hot day…except a cold drink poolside on a hot day at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
I hope this was helpful, Dot. I do hope you’ll
drop back by if any additional questions arise before your vacation.
Cheers to 2024,
Lizzie
