Hello there, Diana!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for bringing us your fabulous
Walt Disney World Resort planning question. In just a few days, you'll be at The Most Magical Place on Earth. A business conference near the Walt Disney World Resort... does it get any more spectacular than that!? I'd be happy to help you prepare for a wonder-filled work-and-play getaway!
Diana, between work commitments, you'll be able to relax at the stunning Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. This tranquil resort is located just footsteps away from
EPCOT, where the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be kicking off soon! Disney After Hours events are special ticketed events and admission is sold separately from regular theme park admission. These exclusive events allow Guests to experience the theme parks after they've closed to the general public, meaning Guests can enjoy their favorite attractions with lower wait times! Diana, if you'd like to visit a theme park during one of these events, I recommend stopping by a theme park ticket booth once you arrive on-site to confirm whether tickets are still available.
During your stay at the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, I encourage you to take a stroll along
Disney's BoardWalk as time allows. The atmosphere in this area is particularly enchanting during the evening hours when the lights and sounds will transport you to a distant and nostalgic time and place! Perhaps you could enjoy a refreshment or meal at one of the many remarkable
restaurants in this area. On your way back to the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, consider popping over to
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop for a splendid ice cream sundae! (I recommend making a
dining reservation in advance, if possible.)
Diana, I hope you've found this information useful as you wrap up your final vacation plans and begin packing your suitcase! I wish you a successful conference and an enchanting escape to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions ahead of your visit, you're always welcome to return to
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
