We will be staying at the Disney Hollywood Resort. How far is it from the hotel to the 4 theme parks, and how do we get from the hotel to the 4 parks we plan to visit? thanks, Roberta

    Heigh-Ho Roberta,

Welcome to planDisney, we are a panel of Guests with a wealth of Disney knowledge and Disney travel experience which we like sharing with our Fellow Guests. The Walt Disney World Resort is VAST and sits on approximately 27,000 acres. Only a portion is filled with the resorts, theme parks, and other sites and infrastructures and getting around can be a bit overwhelming. I am unsure which Walt Disney World Resort you are making your Home Away From Home. While there is Disney's Hollywood Studios, which is one of the four Walt Disney World theme parks, there is not a Disney's Hollywood Resort. I can give you further details on what transportation is better offered if you would like to write back once you confirm your Walt Disney World Resort

In the meantime, Walt Disney World Resort provides Guests with a variety of complimentary transportation options. From Water Transportation to Bus Transportation and the Disney Skyliner and Monorails a route can be found to direct you from Point A to Point B and back again. It may not always be a direct route but Cast Members are readily available to point you in the right direction. It is always a great idea to have your transportation mapped out before your arrival and once you have confirmed your Walt Disney World Resort we can better assist you.

We look forward to hEARing back from you and check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) and Panel Extras for some Vacation Planning Tips.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
