We are staying at a Disney good neighbor hotel, Lake Buena Vista resort village, it offers free shuttle service, but drops us at Epcot to go to MK by monrail, do we need to go through bag check twice

    Hi Betty!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. While there are a plethora of transportation options around Walt Disney World Resort it really has been incredibly streamlined to make the most out of the Guests experience!

With that being said, I'm delighted to let you know that you will only go through one single check point to get to Magic Kingdom via your route. When you are dropped off at Epcot, you will go through a security checkpoint prior to boarding the monorail. Once you have boarded, this monorail will take you to the Transportation & Ticket Center, where you'll get off and switch over to another monorail to take you to Magic Kingdom. This transition is done behind a secure checkpoint, so you will not need to go through security again. Once you've arrived at Magic Kingdom, you'll then be ready to stroll on in and begin enjoying your day!

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit. Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions!
