Hi, AmberJean! Welcome to planDisney!
Is there anything more magical than the
holiday season at
Walt Disney World Resort? I love seeing the theme parks and
resort hotels all decked out in their holiday splendor, and I'm so excited that you'll be able to experience Christmas at The Most Magical Place on Earth this year!
The holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort often brings about some special seasonal treats, and some restaurants may offer a special holiday menu. However, these dining options aren't typically announced until a bit closer to the holiday season. I recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news on what you can expect during your visit this Christmas.
No matter whether or not there is a special holiday menu, a
signature dining experience at Walt Disney World Resort would be the perfect way to celebrate a festive occasion like Christmas Eve. Some of my favorite restaurants for a special occasion are
California Grill and
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. Both of these locations offer delicious food and gorgeous views. If you time your meal right, you might even be able to catch a
fireworks show.
If you're looking for a dinner with a cozier vibe, I highly recommend heading over to
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The holiday decor at this resort hotel is stunning, and it's one of my favorite places to visit at Christmas time.
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a unique character dining experience in a beautiful rustic setting. It would be perfect for your holiday meal. If you're looking for a more casual dinner at Disney's Wilderness Lodge,
Whispering Canyon Cafe would be a great option. No matter where you choose to have your holiday meal, be sure to make your dining reservations 60 days in advance.
If you'll be visiting
EPCOT during your holiday trip, you don't want to miss the
Candlelight Processional. This moving telling of the Christmas story is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday at Walt Disney World Resort.
AmberJean, if you have any other questions as you're getting ready for your trip, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a very merry holiday season and a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
