We are staying at Disney Art of Animation day before leaving on the Dream June 29. What approximate time does cruise bus come by for pickup and at that time do they take our luggage or do they get it the night before?

Welcome back, Dianne! Your family is going to experience the same fun we had last month when we visited the Walt Disney World Resort before our cruise on the Disney Magic!

We stayed at the Art of Animation Resort and took Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers to the port as well. I'm assuming you've already purchased these transfers through Disney Cruise Line, but if not, be sure to do so soon. I can't give you exact times of your luggage pick up and motorcoach arrival because it can vary based on how many other guests are heading out to sea with you that day, but I can let you know what we experienced last time so you can see approximately how it will work.

The night before you set sail, you'll receive a note in your resort room letting you know when your luggage will be picked up and what time to meet for the motorcoach. Our luggage pick up at Art of Animation was at 8:00 a.m. The luggage was picked up in our resort room which made it very convenient for us! We kept our day bags with us so we could still enjoy the resort for the rest of the morning. We were told to meet at 11:00 a.m. in the lobby and find the Disney Cruise Line representatives. There, we checked in with them and then boarded the motorcoach. Our motorcoach did stop at one other resort before we headed out to Port Canaveral. I understand that they may stop at up to three. Once we were on our way, it was about an hour until we reached Port Canaveral. Since other guests who arrived at the port on their own had already boarded the ship, we didn't have to wait long to check in and then walk onboard to start our cruise vacation!

It really is convenient to book these ground transfers and let Disney take care of all of the details, Dianne! Have a wonderful cruise!
