Hello Becky,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be staying in
Disney’s Old Key West Resort for the first time in the gorgeous, tranquil community of Conch Flats. I absolutely love the location of both Disney’s Old Key West and
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa as they are so close to the dining, shopping, and entertainment that can be found in
Disney Springs. You can board the ferryboat located behind the Hospitality House and make the cruise over the water to Disney Springs. If you don’t feel up to making the cruise over to Disney Springs, there are some excellent
dining and
recreation options that can be found right there at your resort. You can find some really delicious comfort food at
Olivia’s Café or some grab and go choices that can be eaten poolside from
Good’s Food to Go. You can find complimentary games and activities at Conch Flats Community Hall or just spend some time lounging around one of the fabulous
swimming pools, my favorite being Sandcastle Pool, with a 125-foot-long waterslide!
Your Deluxe Studio will contain a Cuisinart Single-Serve coffee maker with flat, circular coffee pods. You will find your room equipped with a few servings of both regular and decaffeinated coffee as well as sweeteners and creamers. If you find that you need more, you can request more coffee pods at any time during your stay. If you would prefer to bring your own, I suggest that you look for the flat, round coffee pods online, as I haven’t seen them available in most stores. I have also heard of people using their favorite brew in a cleverly folded coffee filter, though I haven’t tried this myself.
I hope that you have an absolutely magical stay at Disney’s Old Key West Resort and a wonderful time in Walt Disney World! Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
